We start with dialog...

You won't find a lot of hype here. We start by getting to know you and your special circumstances. We want you to take time to get know us. Read over the materials on our site, check out our blog and when you are ready, give us a phone call and we can schedule a mutually convenient time to explore whether or not we have a fit.

When you contact us, we promise to ask lots of questions--and we expect you to have lots of questions about us. After all, this is a deeply personal and spiritual relationship. We expect you to be very careful in selecting a church consultant. We are equally selective in accepting a client.

Your needs are unique. In order to know you better we usually start out with questions like these:

Tell us a little about yourself.

Where do you want to go?

What are your challenges?

What do you want to accomplish?

Are you facing a possible pastoral succession?

How will you know when you have succeeded?

What's worked? What hasn't? Why? What have you learned?

We want to hear your questions

Ask us what we have done and see which of our skills--organization development, leadership development, succession planning, personal coaching--fit with your needs.

We diagnose problems at the deepest level

Are you facing challenges within the congregation? How are your finances? Is the neighborhood changing? Our solutions are always designed to fit your exact circumstances and needs.

We engage

Typically we work with you and your leadership team. Developing a strong church requires getting the right leaders in place and making sure that they are communicating easily and effectively. We help leaders focus on the priorities that are intentionally designed to take you where you want to go.

We work with you to map the path ahead

Lengthy strategic plans are great if you are looking for impressive documents to fill your shelves. Extensive research, however, indicates that powerful ideas clearly expressed in a single page are much more effective in bringing about change. We help you do this in a way that engages all of your members and helps communicate where the major players need to be.

We support your team through every step of the implementation process

Have you ever noticed how great it is to come back from a workshop with great ideas only to watch the blank stares of those around you as you try to share your enthusiasm? Suddenly your enthusiasm has been drained. Ideas don't automatically translate into action. Turning great ideas in real transformations requires training, improving communication, getting realiable feedback, building and maintaining strong and effective support systems, and getting a "dashboard" that tells you how exactly how well or poorly things are working.

We put ideas into action

At Churchwright we don't stop at the idea part. The real deal is making life transforming ideas manifest in the lives of real people. We have seen thousands of plans and mission statements. They are great starting points, but they count only when they are put into action. We specialize in co-creating with your team to connect the dots between great ideas and real accomplishments.

When you're ready to bring about a change--contact us.

We are different. Our tools techniques and approaches are designed to strengthen the entire church system. Churches are complicated organizations. If only one part of the church is onboard with a new idea it will not work. We specialize in identifying all the components of the church. Next, we work with you to design a customized solution that fits your congregation and its needs. As you know from experience, ideas without actions never develop traction. Once the ideas are developed, we work with you and your leadership team, to strengthen your ability to implement your mission.
